SCA Partnership Program

- Requirements. The channel:

- Cannot have an explicit topic (i.e. sex, drugs, violence) or be affiliated with religion (this is just to avoid conflict, we are NOT prejudiced)

- We are looking for channels who have dedicated Mods and if you feel like you’ll truly be dedicated to your channel, feel free apply. We’re more than likely going to accept channels within the range of some form of entertainment, but we’re open to all topics (excluding the ones mentioned above). We like to see channels that are unique and have their own little flare to it.
- We can create a nice channel banner and channel icon for you ONLY ONCE (any future changes of channel banner or channel icon is up to you), it will include watermark text saying “Smosh Community Animated Partner”. Any future changes to your channel’s banner that you make must say “Smosh Community Animated Partner” in order to maintain the partnership.
- If you have any videos that you want to promote that are related to your channel, we can upload it to our YouTube channel and help promote it.
- If there are any special events you are hosting on your channel, we can help promote it (as long as you don’t come to us frequently asking us to do so).
- At the end of each of our weekly “SCA Weekly Recap” discussions, we will list your channels as one of the channels that people should go check out.
- Each week on Thursday we will feature one of our channel partners on a segment called “Partner of the Week”, where we talk a little bit about that chosen channel and recommend people visit it. We will be looking at a number of factors when determining who will be selected each week, such as recent user activity, how involved are the moderators in a channel, uniqueness, and so on. A channel can only be featured ONCEin the “Partner of the Week” segment, but this may change in the future.
- Each month, we will select three of our partner channels to be featured on our banners for an entire month. We will be mainly looking at which of these channels have helped us out the most in terms of promotion.
- You must make a discussion on Channel Chat promoting your channel, and in it it has to include this sentence (even if it’s the very last sentence): “A partner of Smosh Community Animated”.
- You (the channel owner) and the mods must follow the Smosh Community Animated channel. In return, all of the mods of Smosh Community Animated will follow your channel too.
- Not a requirement, but every once and a while, try to recommend and comment on a discussion on Smosh Community Animated. We will try to comment to do the same for your channel every once and a while too.
